Friends of Eugene McDermott Library are invited to library programs, tours, exhibits, and special lectures.

Friends of Eugene McDermott Library are able to check out 5 items at a time including 1 media item. The checkout period for print materials is 21 days and media items circulate for 4 hours in library use only. Late fees and replacement costs apply to all library borrowers.

Friends can access electronic resources on-site. Two Community User Workstations are available near the Services Desk on the main floor.

You can check out one media item for 4-hours in library use only.

Can I check out laptops?
Due to a limited number of laptops, this service is offered only to UTD students.

Can I use Interlibrary Loan services?
This service is available at your home library.

Can I have TexShare privileges?
You will need to register for and receive a TexShare card from your home library.

Can I check out Callier Diagnostic Tests and purchase scoring forms?
The Callier Tests collection is limited to UTD students and faculty only.
