AT&T’s Ty Bledsoe Named to UT Dallas Executive Board
The University of Texas at Dallas has named Ty Bledsoe, assistant vice president for external affairs at AT&T Inc., to its Executive Board. Bledsoe joins other business and civic leaders on the board in advancing the efforts of the University in the community.
Bledsoe has worked at AT&T for nine years, having previously served as director of diversity and inclusion, director of human resource business partners, lead chief of staff for hosting and application support, and sales planning manager for emerging health care technologies.
Apart from his role at AT&T, Bledsoe is an ordained minister who currently serves as pastor of evangelism and outreach at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Dallas. He also serves on the pastoral care team at One Community Church in Plano.
Bledsoe is the author of The Mountaintop: One Black Leader’s Courageous Fight for Faith, Justice & Empowerment, and serves on the board of directors for Project Unity, a nonprofit focused on racial reconciliation in Dallas.
A native of California, Bledsoe received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Davis and his master’s in business administration from California State University-Sacramento.
